Every minute, 1 million plastic bottles are produced worldwide. That is why we see supporting waste prevention as one of the best ways to solve this problem – if we do not buy any plastic bottles at all, we will not have to pick them up from our parks later. :)
No more plastic bottles and no more thirst! All you have to do is walk into a friendly restaurant or shop with an empty bottle – they will gladly refill it. You do not have to feel thirsty, buy a new plastic bottle, or sneak into the toilet to get tap water. And where can you get your bottle refilled? Check out the map below. Today, they will refill your bottle at around 200 locations across the Czech Republic.
Trash Hero Czech Republic has joined forces with the Dolej si (Refill your bottle) project. A student group from Palacký University in Olomouc has arranged that dozens of places will refill your bottle with drinking water for free. But these students have already finished school and left, so we joined the initiative and continue to take care of this project.
